TIME TO RENEW! Membership in our club is from June 1 to May 31 of each year. You must be an active member to participate in most club activities including ski trips. Get a renewal application on our Membership Page and send it to our Membership Director, Lynette Collins to keep participating in all our fun activities.

NORTH ISLAND SNOWDRIFTERS WIN AWARDS: Far West Ski Association held their annual convention June 10th at Indian Wells. Our club was honored, winning first place in the AA division for best overall club. We also received first place awards for best newsletter and best website.

SUMMER MEETINGS: Our Summer meetings begin in June at Kate Sessions Park. The next meeting is Friday, August 13th. There will be free hot dogs and beverages for members. You can get maps to the locations on our Membership Meeting Locations Page.

Newsletter Editor Needed: Our venerable newsletter editor, Barry Cole, has made the decision to become Vice President of our club. If you have some artistic abilities and good organizational skills, this could be your opportunity to help our club and provide a valuable product to our members. Contact Nick Cowell for details.

North Island Snowdrifters has been named "Ski Club of the Week" by Mike Doyle who writes "Mike's Skiing Blog" for About.com. Doyle covers skiing topics nationally so this is a great honor for our club. About.com is an internet portal and search engine well known to computer enthusiasts.
