North Island Snowdrifters considers itself the best ski club in San Diego but we do a lot more than just ski. We keep the fun coming long after the snow has melted.

We are proud to have more than 180 members of many ages and abilities. We are open to all levels of skiers and snow boarders, as well as non-skiers. We accept singles, couples and families (although many club activities do tend to be adult-oriented events and adventures.)

Meet new and interesting people and participate in a variety of activities year-round, both on and off the mountain, including on-the-water sports, golfing, camping, hiking, biking, and San Diego Padres baseball games.

We are famous for events such as our annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights party, our New Year’s Eve bash, and Hat Ass party.

Enjoy the benefits of economy of scale. We organize many affordable ski trips to Mammoth Mountain each winter, in addition to economical flyaway trips to such great ski locations as Colorado, Utah, Montana, Canada, and various destinations in the Alps. Annual membership is only $50 per person which includes membership in both the San Diego Council of Ski Clubs and the Far West Ski Association, which entitles you to partipate in any activities/trips they run/sponsor - including many international venues.
